Ontario Provincial Championship - 2019
This year's competition theme was called Deep Space. Two alliances of deep space travellers race to place hatch panels on their rockets and cargo ship or load valuable cargo for transport off the planet and then return to the safety of their habitat.
Above is a picture of our robot. It was designed to be able to load cargo and carry and place the hatch panels to score points. This was done using an elevator mechanism to be able to raise and lower the arm. along with a multi-talented claw which could carry the cargo and have hatch panels carried on top of them.
During this competition, our team competed alongside 40 other teams and we successfully ended the competition by winning the Rookie Inspiration Award!
